The 13th annual Cruefest Hollywood will be held on July 26 at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California. Since its inception in 2001, Cruefest Hollywood has been a musical event organized by the fans of the rock band MÖTLEY CRÜE and all proceeds are donated to the Skylar Neil Foundation. This event was developed through the goodwill, generosity, dedication and energy of a group of fans from all over North America. This once-small event has grown over the past 10 years, with similar charity events also being held in New England, Atlanta, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Canada and Australia. Over the years Cruefest Hollywood has grown in attendance, funds raised for cancer research and musician participation bringing in artists from around the world. Event supporters and sponsors share their money for a great cause and artists and organizers give of their time and talents to make this event a success. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Skylar Neil Foundation which was established by MÖTLEY CRÜE lead vocalist Vince Neil in memory of his daughter Skylar, who lost her battle with cancer at age 4. The Skylar Neil Foundation's mission is to honor Skylar by raising money and awareness through unique charitable events and activities it sponsors, and, grant and award the money raised to medical, research, and educational institutions, groups, and individuals who are doing breakthrough work to find cures for cancer, AIDS, and other diseases.Over the years, many artists have supported Cruefest Hollywood, including VAINS OF JENNA, Steven Adler, Daisy De La Hoya, THE EROTICS, THE LOVEHAMMERS and DIRTY PENNY. Neil Wharton (Vince Neil's son) has headlined the event numerous times.
