2 tracks, Same song, 2 Guitar tones. Which one?

Okay so I need some opinions on which of these guitar tones is the better one. The original one has -3db of 2k and .1Q. The "newer" tone has the 2k at 0 with the same q. So basically I just added back the 2k that I originally took out. Which one of the two tones is better? Is the 2nd newer tone too harsh? Should I try and find a happy medium between the 2? Should I keep the newer tone and just try to trim some of the high end out of the OH's to make the mix not sound as harsh? Help me out and let me know what you think I should.

Working on it. The snare is something I think everyone is never satisfied with. Content maybe to a certain point but never fully satisfied. The long arduous journey of snare tones is never fulfilling. haha.
