The fourth edition of the 2000 Decibel festival will be held on May 17th 2003 in Bengtfors, Sweden. Fifteen bands will play on two different stages. So far TALISMAN, AMON AMARTH, GARDENIAN and PATHOS are announced to play the festival in 2003.
The 2000 Decibel festival is special because of the fact that is the only festival that is totally dedicated to Swedish Hard Rock and Metal. Bands that have played on the festival previous years include: Opeth, Therion, Entombed, Tiamat, The Crown, The Haunted, Candlemass, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Lefay, Evergrey, Witchery etc. And not surprisingly people have traveled far to come to this festival, metalheads from countries such as: Canada, New Zealand, USA, Switzerland, Mexico, Germany, England and Holland have visited 2000 Decibel to catch the best bands Sweden have to offer.
