As of right now, all I know of is

Wintersun- Time II
Blind Guardian- ?
Iced Earth- Plagues of Babylon
Maybe Symphony X?

Can anyone else add to this?

Lots of bands with upcoming releases.....

Darkwater
Evergrey
Opeth
Anathema
Gazpacho - Demon
Adagio
Seventh Wonder
Threshold
Vanden Plas - Netherworld: Chronicles of the Immortals

Highly doubt Symphony X will have anything new untill 2015/2016, to be honest...

Lorenguard - The Days of Astasia, Pt. 2 (assuming that's the title - not sure if it'll come out this year though)
Wintersun - Time II
Blind Guardian - new album?
Dragonforce - new album
Sonata Arctica - Pariah's Child
Cellador - Honor Forth/title TBA (who even knows anymore. they've come back to life and seem to have some major important news coming up, hopefully an album announcement finally)
Edguy - new album
Opeth - new album
Flying Colors - new album?
The Winery Dogs - new album?
Angra - new album
Iced Earth - Plagues of Babylon

possibly some others I've missed

The guys above me already mentioned most of them. Particularly excited for DragonForce, Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica - all 3 are going to rock for sure

Yeah, I'll need to give a lot of these bands a listen as I'm fairly new to Power Metal as a whole. I only ever listened to Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, and assuming they're Power and not Death- Wintersun.

You should ask for some recommendations from people, Im sure you'll get some. Some members here, for example Dom and Michael are really into the genre. They could give you a good direction about what to check out next

Need to check out the two Steve mentioned - also adding Voyager's new album to my list. Australian prog metal. Love 'em

The new Royal Hunt.... "A life to die for" is also well worth a listen, as is most of their back catalogue

Bought that album on Amazon earlier, bought the CD+DVD edition and Amazon gives you the MP3 Download version for free straight after buying it. Listened to it earlier and I'm very impressed.

Might be only a matter of days before I buy a ticket for their Sheffield show.

Check out Silent Force.......the Infatuator album is amazing. Also recommended.......Walk the Earth and the new one Rising from the Ashes.

I was going to link you some stuff from Silent Force - Rising from the Ashes cos it's got that 80s esque Eden's Curse-tinged sound :D \m/ Great album if you can give it a full spin!

Silent Force were a superb Melodic Metal band and I would highly recommend "Worlds Apart" and "Walk The Earth". Superb guitar work by Alex Beyrodt (as one would expect) and great vocals from DC Cooper. Their comeback album is a totally different beast but if you like solid hard rock then definitely give 'Rising from the Ashes' a listen. Not really Silent Force but still a very good album.
