24 hours

I wonder.....
Do people think of today, yesterday, or tomorrow?
Do people think within a 24 hour span anymore?
How many can say they've studied fire or saved a child's life?
Does anyone dream anymore?

Two different kinds of warriors in this world
Of rocks and dragons
Some of us fly too fast
Our lives become eye blinks
Droplets of water falling into the sink, down the drain
Some of us let life pass us by, thinking we're immortal
They become hard and cold,
Without heart or wit

The God, Fate, is above all Gods
For Fate was not born of man's imagination like the others
Lives twist and turn for better or for worse
Changing lives forever or for never within 24 hours,
Even sooner......always too soon..........
