I only watched the last 15 minutes, but I've been told Australia had a shitload of possession but couldn't do squat with it.... Good on em, but there's plenty of harder tests to come. I remember a few years back where everyone was celebrating because we drew 2-2 with Brazil. A few days later they flogged us 6- 2 or something. Australia came back down to earth with a huge thud!.

The best we can really hope for from the Brazil game is either a draw or a 1-0 loss.... that puts us in a good position for the Croatia game depending on how they go against Japan
That was fucking sensational. I watched it at Federation Square in the city, along with several thousand other people. Everyone was pretty despondent as the minutes ticked by, but when Timmy scored everyone went mental. Then when he scored his second, everyone went mental again! As an Everton supporter, I couldn't believe my eyes.
It's amazing to be part of a crowd like that. When the second went in I ended up about 10 metres away from my mates. then I was able to bounce my way back over to them when Aloisi scored.
Based on what I saw of this morning's game (2nd half), Croatia pose as much threat as Brazil.
