3D panoramics thread

Since some of you folks are into photography and such I thought I'd start a thread about 3-D panoramics, which are really neat. You can rotate them and see the view from any angle

Ssome guy (Gerald Donovan) was able to capture 4250 individual shots with a Canon 7D and the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L zoom at 400mm from a skyscraper and surpassed the previous record, the 26 Gigapixels panorama of Paris. The total shooting time was around 3 hours 30 minutes, in 37°C heat (that's the temperature in the shade - the camera and lens were almost too hot to touch at the end of this), Gerald explained.

Yeah, he was a hell of an artist. I've always had a deep respect for realism that's well done. And he did it well.
