Yeah, I prefer a higher "tone" setting to avoid being overly muffled.

To lower the tone knob on the tubescreamer. I'd say lower than 12:00 usually does it. It doesn't have so much of a mid honk with this technique.

You can re-download it, I changed the guitar EQ, it's a bit brighter, removed some 400 Hz too.

Still maybe too much low mids, I didn't use any compression there but maybe it needs a bit of it.
