5150 no sound

I just used the 5150 last weekend. Worked great. I turned it on today and I get no freaking sound. Everything is still plugged in the same!

Both lights turn on power and standby. When I turn standby off the light stays on?

Does anyone have any suggestions before I spend money on a tech?

maybe the switch is bad?

There must be a preamp tube defect. Open the screws on the backside and check them.

4 of the 5 preamp tubes (5th being the balanced tube for the phase inverter) are not lighting up. Is there any reason why all 4 would go out at the same time? (jj ecc 83 s) I just purchased these about 1 month ago...

I mean the balanced tube is the only one working in the preamp tubes

Just because a tube doesn't light up doesn't mean its bad. I have no glow at all on my SLO tubes and it functions fine....

I try to fix the switch first, before you start messing with your tubes. If you hadn´t said everything was still plugged the same I´d suggested to look if you used a stereo-cable instead of a mono one... happened to me on a dark stage...
