I'm looking at some laptops. I don't know much about this technical stuff obviously, but I know that 5400 isn't fast enough normally, or at least it's not ideal.
But apparently SATA is a faster type of drive.. but it still says '5400'.. so it's a bit confusing.

???

Just to be clear, I want to be able to track ..a lot.. of tracks.. at once :loco:

P.S. I'm investigating DELLs among others. Feel free to comment on that..

5400 is not a crime, i have both a fujitsu 5400 and a seagate 7400 external, its not THAT much of a difference between em. i track frequently 4 tracks at once (field recording usually) on my 5400rpm, even with the cpu set at minimum freq and its really ok.
