How can one dislike skateboard after that seriously ?

My skateboard has been taking dust for 2 years (twisted ankle again, knee injury, laziness) but i'm gonna get back to it this year i think...

i can't skate, but always thought about it. as a kid, the cool teenage neighbor game me his rad 80's neon green with pink wheels/grind plastic board. back when they were fish shaped and only had the back lifted up for trixxx. i had a cheap toy store skateboard in high school but kinda gave up on it after hurting my balls. had a pal that bailed and peed blood for two weeks straight and that kinda put me off too. hmmm
