I only got this cab two days ago and haven't had anywhere near as much play time as I'd like but here's a quick clip for those wondering about the sound of T-75's.

You can just forget about your standard 5150 settings with these speakers, they really need an entire re-think compared to a V30 rig. Yes they are much more difficult to coax a great sound out of, but I think it will be worth the work. They are dark, and fizzy, with a huge woofy low end and scooped mid range, and I think you need to accommodate for that accordingly with your amp.

This clip is with my LTD M-307 7 string with EMG 81-7 down in Bb, as I really wanted to see how it handles low end (people always tend to favour the V30 over the T75 for downtuned guits).

Mic was a single Sm57 right on the cap. As I said, very dark sounding speakers, so anywhere off the cap becomes very bassy and non-present.

Amp settings were:

Pre: 6.5
Low: 6
Mid: 5
High: 7
Res: 6
Pres: 7

No boost, guitar straight in.

As for post processing I found I had to take a scoop out of the 250hz region with a narrow Q, as it was very boxy/boomy here. That was probably more to do with the room it's currently in than the nature of the speakers though. HP at 80hz, LP at about 9k, but with a hi shelf of 2.5db from about 6k>.

Anyway I hope this has offered some insight into their sound, I will post more clips over the next few days as I spend more time with it.

Cheers.

Thanks man :) Sure,

Drums are Metal Foundry (well, the overheads) toms are X-drum'd from SD2.0 Avatar, kick is one of Lasse's from LSD Drums, and the snare is Snare 3 from Slate.
Bass on this one is just pitch-shifted guitar, since I don't have access to a 5 string at the moment.

This is fucking awesome. I'm a T75 guy all the way. There's just something about that sounds more menacing than the V30.

Hey dude, is there any possibilities of posting the "DI's" (Not really DI's I guess)? I have almost the same rig as yours, and I'm thinking on the EMG 81, so I would like to know how they sound unprocessed.

really nice tone man!
my first experience with micing t75 wasn't too pleasant...but I think part of the reason was that it was a 2x12 (also marshall), that the room was really small and that I cranked the amp too much...also 6505+.
