I have several bass drop samples, most of which are edited 808 or just a straight up 808 kick sample. I'm planning on using these at a venues with professional PA's, so I'm not very worried about it picking up the frequency. The only thing I'm confused about is that when I play it through my surround sound (with subwoofer), it still sounds gargly and terrible. Is there a reason for this? Will the 808 still sound deep and heavy at the venue?
I realize maybe my surround sound just cant pick up the frequency, but I feel like it should sound better since it plays bass drops perfectly fine in song recordings
