I knew this thread would be for me.
I really have to go to some record fairs and pick up old Metal Edge magazines from the late 80s/early 90s. I'd love 'em, hehe. That page rocks, I wish metal was still like that now

At least Oz admits to being a poser. But big hair really had nothing to do with it guys. It might have been that you guys looked like fucking bumble bees! And the last thing people wanted to see was bumble bees with beards.

I see an ad from Enuff Z'Nuff's first record and it says:
A new band that wants to rock, with a new sound that proves they can.
A single called "New Thing" that really is.
An album called Enuff Z'Nuff that'll never be.

Who was on the pipe when they came up with that slogan? With ads like that they were doomed from the start.
Hahaha also, I've been making a website lately on 80s glam bands, and when I was looking up bands I came across Cats In Boots, and they get a mention here too! Hahaha, check it out:

Cats In Boots sounds like a Broadway play, not a fucking metal band. Trixter sounds more metal than Cats In Boots. Why not Dogs In Panties or Pigs In Loafers?

Yeah, I bought an issue a while back from 1980something that had Skid Row on the cover, the best bit was the interview with Tuff "We arent going to mess up our shot, we have worked hard and wont ruin it by doing stupid things" or something to that effect.
