Shave EP Release Text:
From the desk of A Crown of Amaranth: Released June 26 05

Hungover, ready to fall forward onto the floor and lie there imagining
what the world would be like if every artist had the freedom and
perseverance to bring a completely personal vision to the world. Thus
was born the "Shave EP": what could
possibly be the most singularly idiosyncratic vision ever brought forth
from the bowels of the underground.

Four tracks of dedicatedly odd music ranging from an intense cover of
Jay-Z's "Dirt Off Ya Shoulders" to blistering noise washes to
guitar-driven melodies wrapped around a telephone-pole bassline to
whispering tentacles of madness in audio form.

To underscore my dedication I have, as previously promised, shaved and
dually packaged a lock of my hair into every copy along with
hand-cutting all 50 sleeves, creating all the artwork, and
painting/burning each of the CD's. No printing, no help, just my own
sweat and hair.

Maximum Volume=Maximum Psychosis=Maximum Rock n' Roll

Not only am I a member of Audio Savant Records, but I'm also the PR department. Which means, fellas and ladies, that I get to drop potted meat product on you every once in awhile. Consider it a favor! I'm bringing the best music out there to your ears!

yoy yoy yoy!

Not only that, but I'm vegan, so tis extra stupid!

No no no, I don't work with SPAM, I work with Audio Savant! Which is nothing like SPAM except that Audio Savant is indeed tasty when fried and then slathered in mustard and white bread. Audio Savant is also good on salads, and makes a great smoothie for those hot summer months. Drink up!

Okay that's why this band sounds familiar, I think I have the promo of this flying around erratically.

Unlike most other labels which can go F themselves right up the A, I'll actually review Audio Savant stuff.

Indeed, someone will be getting a promo of it for Royal Carnage. I haven't sent them out yet because I've been so busy just trying to get them done! But, rest assured, this week. If anyone has any promotional questions/requests for interviews, you can direct them to me @ promo at audiosavant dot com and I'll happily engage you in conversation, but only electronically since in real life I am cripplingly introverted and stutter constantly.
