Depends what you're gonna use it for; if it's as a DI for guitar re-amping, I think the Countryman Type 85 or the Little Labs Redeye 3D (combo DI/re-amp box) are better bets for their transparency; the tube coloration of the REDDI is probably sweet on bass and keys though

the REDDI is meant to sound like a ampeg b15.

so its not transparent, but still great sounding.

One of my favorite pieces of gear. Unbelievable on bass guitar. Seriously, it's without peer in that department. I probably wouldn't use it in situations where I just need a clean, simple DI sound. It's got a great euphonic coloration going on, like there's a sub-synth blended underneath the bass.
