Vanden Plas isn't for everyone. They are more prog metal than Tad Morose but also quite melodic and song oriented unlike most prog bands. I don't use the Tad Morose forum to promote other bands including Vanden Plas, because basically the Tad Morose board is for Tad Morose fans, not for promoting other bands, but I will always comment on how Vanden Plas kicks ass here because I do the same for TM at the VP board.
If you think you will like kickass melodic prog metal then buy "Beyond Daylight." I couldn't live without it personally.

I think Gauny (moderator) is going to fly over to America and spank me if I make more Vanden Plas posts so I will make this the last. If you want to find out more about VP, just make a thread about it. Gauny doesn't mind off-topic postds, but she doesn't like when one topic becomes different than the original. If youy want to ask more about vanden Plas, start and off-topic Vanden Plas thread, and we can talk there.
Vanden Plas does not sound like Mag 9 much to me. I think they have a sound a little similar to Images and Words era Dream Theater, except more melodic, less wankery and a better vocalist and keyboardist.

What I don't like much are nonsense threads (and this one started as one imho - I frankly am not interested in where someone's slippers are and I doubt other TM fans reading this board are. If at all, this could have been posted in the "what's everybody up to"-thread where basically you can write whatever you want )
