Sounds like the dude was a pretty cool guy. Love the fact that when he gets sick he goes out into nature to gather herbs.

no really, it's a good point although the whole romanticization of the past as a "simpler time" i don't normally find to hold particularly true...his view of keeping a balance with science i thought was unexpectedly realistic
