yay, my name is on blabbermouth! :kickass:

Pretty huge band over here in the dutch lands.. glad it came out like this.
That amp you hear is Keiffer's Krank btw! re-amped them.

Their myspace with the new songs:

Basically we just wanted a very direct trash sound, in your face.. i think it came very nicely.
You cant really rate this now, the album's allready been released through displeased records, but yeah.. just had to post this anyway. :kickass:

Cheers!

Sounds really great Bob. It's nice to hear soemthing you've mixed that sounds completely different from Toxic Grindmachine (vtw. TGM sounds really great). It shows that you're capable of adapting your style to different bands and genres.

great dude! any info on the recording/mix/master process?

is that the ezdrummer snare i hear? did u use some kind of parallel comp to get that "in your face" sound?

Cheers Jackal!

Deadstar.. it's been a while, so i have zero recollection on what i did to the vox and what i used for the bass, mostly standard EQ'ing and compression plus the usual reverb(s) and delay(s).

Yes, it is EZ drummer.. through a roland TD kit (TD12 i think).
Not really my choice but the drummer said it sounded EXACTLY like his own snare/kit and really wanted to stick with this, so no sampling just pure EZ plus EQ, compression and reverb.

I did send the snare to two busses.. one for the entire drum mix where i send out the kick, snare and OH's to a extra bus containing reverb and compression.
Another bus was set up for the EZ snare only, some more compression and some EQ but all very lightly as we did not want to stray too far from the original sound which the drummer liked so much.

Guitars are all POD XT for solos and Keiffer's krank for rhythm guitars, bass was (insert bass name, no clue what it was anymore) into the pod as well.. subtle EQ was all that it needed.

Vocals needed to be direct as fuck, so compression, delays and reverbs plus automation was all that was neccesary there.
