A poll for you old schoolers

For those of you who've been with the scene some time, you may remember one of the most keee-lar death metal bands to ever release on album on Century Media Records, ASPHYX. How many here worship in the halls of ASPHYX? Which albums do you own?

I had and loved The Rack but it got stolen. I have to replace it. Asphyx were farkin' sludgy!

I've got 'em all. The Rack is my favorite, but Crush the Cenotaph, the self-titled, are good as well.

I actually like the album they released under the name Soulburn more than some of the Asphyx albums.

I knew J. would find this thread. Like me, his Asphyx radar is always on.

I have actually never heard the Soulburn stuff. Who's handling the vocals?

Asphyx always managed to have pretty brutal vocals, even with all of the line-up changes. I really liked their last album a lot. Too bad CM didn't release it domestically over here. A lot of their stuff is really hard to find now. I have everything except Crush The Cenotaph. What's on that again?

Soulburn is simply the lost Asphyx album. It's the exact same line-up as Asphyx's last album:

Bob Bagchus - Drums
Eric Daniels - Guitar
Wannes Gubbels - Bass, Vocals

CtC is only 5 songs, two of which are live. And I think one of the studio tracks is on Embrace the Death. I think the other two are exclusive to the EP.

Those are the only ones I own, but I like Last One On Earth the best.
