This could just be the greatest month for metal this year:

September 6th
Warbringer -- Worlds Torn Asunder

September 13th

Anthrax -- Worship Music
Arch/Matheos -- Sympathetic Resonance
Dream Theater -- A Dramatic Turn of Events
Neurosis -- Sovereign re-release

September 20th
Opeth -- Heritage

September 27th
Brutal Truth -- End Time
Landmine Marathon -- Gallows
Machine Head -- Locust

...and October starts off with a bang with Pain of Salvation -- Road Salt 2 on October 11th.
:headbang:

Sweet fist release date I see for Road Salt 2. August ends with a bang too with the new Leprous coming out on August 22nd.

not to forget:

Leprous and Loch Vostok will also release new albums.....(ok, Leprous is actually late August, but who's counting??).

Lars

New POS already? How'd I not hear about that?

Following the turbulent and successful release of "Road Salt One" in the year 2010 and the touring activities in its support which climaxed with shows in India and SouthAmerica earlier this year, Sweden's PAIN OF SALVATION will issue "Road Salt Two" on September 26 in Europe and October 11 in NorthAmerica via InsideOut Music.

"Road Salt Two" track listing:

01. Road Salt Theme
02. Softly She Cries
03. Conditioned
04. Healing Now
05. To The Shoreline
06. Eleven
07. 1979
08. The Deeper Cut
09. Mortar Grind
10. Through The Distance
11. The Physics Of Gridlock
12. End Credits

PAIN OF SALVATION was recently confirmed as the support act for a massive Europeantour together with metal innovators OPETH.
