A small section of riffage ( amplitube3,SD2,Recabinet,SchecterBLKJKC7) thoughs?

I recently recorded this small song to test out my new drum samples. It would be great if you could give feedback on everything though .


I'm not sure what to do with the guitars to give a little more bite

Mix is pumping hard, drums are overpowering everything, especially the kick is too tubby.

What does tubby mean though? should I getting rid of mid frequencies?

cut wide and deep around 500-600 and put a high pass filter in front at around 36 hz and that should get rid of the tubiness of the kick drum mate.

for the guitars you can try and add a harmonic exciter and an expander to the guitar master buss to give it a bit more bite and push infront of the mix as well
