This is the kind of concerts that were meant for ampitheatres!!

yeah, finally a hard-rockin' geetar slingers tour... I was getting tired of G3 ... Satriani + Vai + any other guitarist going through a variety of scales and modes can be really boring after an hour... this tour, however, will rock! ZZ Top are geniuses.. hehe! Scott would be a good fit as ZZ Top's rhythm guitarist don't ya think? He's got the beard and he can get the Cheap Sunglasses any where

That's the kind of show to go to if you wanna just plain rock out with some Bud, Old Milwauke, Busch, or the redneck beer of your choice!
I love those shows just to see the 40 year olds still rockin with their kids in tow. That's pretty cool.

I saw ZZtop with Lynard Skynard 2 or 3 years ago. Bar brawls in an arena. How classic?

I saw that same concert Alex. Skynard was good opening. But ZZ TOP might be the most boring live band on earth. Cool Tunes.....Boring Live. Maybe I didn't drink enought that night.

I've heard from any number of sources that Skynyrd blew ZZ off the stage on that tour. I've never seen the ZZ Top boys, but I bet they would have trouble competing w/ Skynyrd. Skynyrd are still awesome on stage. I can't wait to see Skynyrd w/ Sammy Hagar this summer.
