STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis bashed President Joe Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci over vaccine mandates and other policies during a recent concert in Tennessee. The 49-year-old Lewis, an outspoken conservative rocker who reinvented himself as a solo country artist in the last decade, voiced his views on the current political situation in the U.S. before performing his single called "Am I The Only One" during his April 3 concert at The Caverns in Pelham. He told the crowd (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "So I'm not gonna get too crazy with this intro. It's gotten me in trouble before. "Nobody likes to hear the truth anymore. I don't understand what is going on. The truth. Does anybody remember what that concept is? My God, it's so dumbed down. We don't even know what our responsibility is as the owners of this fucking country. We own this country — all of us. Every one of you, you own this country. It's yours — until it's not. And then you know whose it is? It's your fucking kids'. Your kids inherit this fucking disaster that we have allowed to happen when we're gone. "Are we gonna allow this to happen? Are we gonna stand up for our children? "Every one of us was alive before all this craziness began. We all know what the fucking truth is. And what they're spewing daily and stuffing down our fucking throats is not the truth. It's not." After some of Lewis's fans in the crowd started chanting "Fuck Joe Biden!", Aaron continued: "God, I wish it was just Joe Biden. I wish it was that simple as if it was just Joe Biden. It's fucking not. Joe Biden doesn't know what fucking day it is right now," Aaron said, suggesting that Biden is senile and mentally unfit for office. "He just shit his pants for the third time today, as I'm speaking right now, probably in bed. [Doing an impression of Joe Biden calling out to his wife] 'Oops. Jill! Jill! Jill! I shit the bed again. Go get the dog. He always cleans up after me. Jill! Hunter!' he added, referencing Joe Biden's son who has been the center of a number of conspiracy theories in conservative media. "It's funny — where the fuck's Hunter? And where the fuck is Fauci? That motherfucker. You all saw the video that's going around, right? Stating clearly and unequivocally that getting a virus and living through it is the best immunity of any immunity," Lewis said, referencing a 2004 video of the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases talking about the strength of natural immunity. In the 18-year-old video, Fauci tells a caller suffering from the flu that she should not the vaccine if she has had the flu for 14 days because "the best vaccination is to get infected yourself." Aaron continued: "Which every motherfucker in this room got COVID. We all lived through it, and we're all more protected. [Fauci] said it. He fucking said it, as he lied to our faces for two fucking years," Aaron added, apparently discounting the fact that COVID-19 is not seasonal, spreads more easily, is far deadlier than the flu and therefore requires a different public health response. Realizing that he his rant went on a lot longer than he originally intended it to be, Lewis told the crowd: "I can't even help it. I can't help it. I will speak truth to power until I'm fucking dead. Because my children deserve it. My grandchildren deserve to enjoy the same experience in the United States Of America that I did when I was a kid." Last November, Lewis claimed that he beat COVID-19 by taking ivermectin, a drug with no evidence of being a safe or effective treatment for the novel coronavirus. He said he also used Z-Pak, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of bacteria in the body. Lewis made headlines last September when he urged his fans to chant "Fuck Joe Biden" during a STAIND concert in Pennsylvania. Aaron told the Anchorage Press in a January 2020 interview that he considered the first Donald Trump impeachment by the House Of Representatives as the clearest representation of what's wrong with America these days. Lewis was a staunch critic of President Barack Obama, telling a crowd at one of his solo concerts in 2016: "Barack Obama should have been impeached a long fucking time ago. Every fucking decision he makes is against the Constitution, it's against what's good for our fucking country, and he is truly the worst fucking president that we have ever had in the history of this fucking country." That same year, Lewis told Billboard that he would support Trump in the U.S. presidential race, even though he was "disappointed" by the real estate mogul "with the bickering and the name-calling." Lewis added that he voted for Senator Ted Cruz, Trump's closest competitor in the Republican nomination race, in the Massachusetts primary.
