About a huge bass tone!

Hello there..I'm trying to find a edgy and huge bass tone like Slipknot's tone..I've played the song Iowa's last part for an example..Its on F# btw

Anyway, so far i've got this tone..Comments awaited!

sounds pretty close, try compressing a tad and fiddling the eq in the upper mids and you'll nail it

the tone is actually kinda similar so good job with that ... its just missing that big roundness in the bottom ... maybe micing and actual bass amp and blending it with your sound would get you closer

The original sounds like its got a bit of chorus on it, its slightly stereo.

Did he? Maybe I misread it then ... I guess him saying "I'm trying to find a edgy and huge bass tone like Slipknot's tone" could be interpreted a couple ways ... I took it as he's trying to find a way to achieve that tone, not so much "can you guys gimme something that'll give me that tone"

In which case I say in Brooklynese ... "I should just fuck musself ... but fuck you too"
