Production: Minimal.

Bouncy oi beats carry mangled guitar distortion through a sometimes catchy, yet forceful use of minimalist motifs.

Influenced heavily by punk, the bass guitar and drums play a crucial role in keeping these songs, not only grounded, but moving forward as guitars swim in various moods. The role of the bass guitar is paramount on this release; in some songs being played through distortion as the only stringed instrument present.

Vocals go back and forth from reverb-heavy ghoulish barks to reverb-heavy traditional folk singing; both being inspired by ancient and romantic culture of these German born artists.

Guitar tone is annihilated and disrespected; causing an overload of distortion based sound, manipulated into power chord phrases. Leads are played with intention of provoking certain moods with chromatic pieces thrown out in minimal, but nihilistic fragments.

Youthful innocence combined with militant motivation create a unique aesthetic for this black metal/oi/hardcore punk influenced anti-modern protest album. There is never any doubt to the intentions of Absurd, with Der Fuehrer being sampled on "Crux Grammata".

Obvious artistic beauty shown in the compositions unite with the sabotaged production devaluation to show the listener a path towards expression of outer beauty and esoteric inner truths. The charm is in these inner/outer confrontations, and non apologetic display of rejecting society.
