im not too happy with it because the mic is picking up too much of the strings. but ive searched online and im doing it like its saying. even direct in from the acoustic is picking up alot of the strumming.

and here is the original in case you wanna hear it...

Hey man, Try getting new strings (different type), and try a different mice placement. You'll get a decent enough tone where if you still have that pick attack, it will be very subtle and you can probably EQ it out. Also, try a transient designer. Might sound crazy but there is an attack section, and if you bring decrease the attack, you might fix it a little. (i never tried it, i just thought of it now. if you try it let me know how it works) but keep posting clips.

btw if you dont have a transient designer, try looking into a free one called "Dominion". It's my favorite :D

the strings are actually really new, cant remember which i got though so ill try a different kind. maybe thicker. i've tried several mic placements too. tried at 10th fret, tried at the sound hole of it, and even tried just out in the middle of the room, tried it with 3 different mics. im about to try an sm57, i know its not ideal but it'll probably pic up less high end.

i hear everyone talking about transient designers but ive never used them. i just downloaded dominion so ill toy around with that. thanks man.
