Drum/bass relationship is massive. I'm liking that they're steering away from the super compressed piccolo snare too, this just sounds fatter and juicier. Better song-writing too

not too into the song writing in this album near as much as their previous work. could be because they are going mainstream.

as far as production, its killer compared to the other albums.

but come on, you cant beat the music from the Cleansing ;)

What the fuck is up with guy having to rest his foot on something all the time.....
When they played the underworld he had this fuck off big ramp/cage with him, which in a venue the size of the underworld, is a major pain in the ass, as anyone that's been there could imagine.

I actually think it has to do with the way he screams, he might find it easier to project with his body in that position. I have seen footage of phil from Whitechapel recording in a similar position, must have something to do with muscles or something, I don't know haha

just so you guys know Zuess mixed it. Probably one of his worst mixes in my opinion it takes away everything that suicide silence was. RAW. Steve Evetts is a boss, I dunno how anybody couldn't like the mix on the new architects even if you didn't like the songs

I actually think this mix suits the new style way more than the other two album mixes would have. It's more mature, as is the song writing. Vocals haven't changed though, they need to grow the fuck up along with the music

last album was a 14x6.5 tama bell brass snare, FAR from a piccolo. i'm pretty sure it was the lars ulrich signature model too... which is quite funny since i saw someone here make the st anger snare reference when talking about the last album.

steve evetts and zeuss both did great work on this. i would have had steve just do it all personally.

I agree man. Nobody has come close to capturing the rawness of Suicide Silence the way Machine/Will Putney did. No Time To Bleed is how deathcore should be recorded - raw, compressed to shit, blown out, uncomfortable, maniac, chaotic - essentially celebrating all the flaws of human beings at their most cannibalistic.

I'm also sick of hearing Zeuss' same old snare, kick and tom samples with the same old EQ and compression he uses on every one of his albums.
