Australia's Wall Of Sound recently conducted an interview with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. You can now listen to the chat at WallOfSound.org. A couple of excerpts follow (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). On whether he was concerned about the fan reaction to the departure of singer Howard Jones in 2012 and the return of Jesse Leach: Adam: "Of course, you want the fans to be happy. The fans are the reason why we're still a band. Without the support of all of our fans, we wouldn't be able to do this. But at the same time, things are what they are. And having Jesse back was… I thought it was great. I love Jesse; I think he's a fantastic singer. But I do know there are people out there that like Howard Jones more than Jesse, as there are people who like Jesse more than Howard Jones. So it kind of just is what it is. You just hope people still enjoy the songs, still enjoy the shows." On TIMES OF GRACE, his other collaboration with Jesse Leach: Adam: "[TIMES OF GRACE's 2011 album 'The Hymn Of A Broken Man'], of course, has a tremendous place in my heart, just because of when we made it, where it came from and… It came from a different place inside of me, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Now, we have already talked about making a new record, and I've actually written about six demos already. So it's already in motion. I'm thinking we'll be recording it next year. Yeah, I'm absolutely on board with making another record." On always thinking about the next project: Adam: "I've gotten way better at slowing everything down and taking time to be with my family and friends once in a while, because if I just always concern myself with doing something new, I'll drive myself nuts. But at the same time, yeah, I love just making music, so as long as I'm creating somehow, in some facet, in any way, that's what makes me happy. I'll always be doing that. I could never stop making music, even if nobody wants to listen to it." TIMES OF GRACE's debut album, "The Hymn Of A Broken Man", was released in January 2011 via Roadrunner Records. The CD sold around 10,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 44 on The Billboard 200 chart. Dutkiewicz and Leach originally worked together on KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's benchmark album, 2002's "Alive Or Just Breathing". That record has become definitive for an entire generation of American metal, with Leach's voice and uplifting lyrics serving as one of the key elements that propelled the album to "modern classic" status. Leach left KILLSWITCH ENGAGE shortly after "Alive Or Just Breathing"'s release but rejoined the group in early 2012 following the departure of his replacement, Howard Jones. Interview (audio):
