The people at Adobe had everyone fooled. It apparently only works for licensed CS2 users. Sorry everyone.

Lol, I started with Audition forever ago. I don't think I'd ever go back though! It's extremely limited. The best thing about it was the noise remover.

+1 to that. I have Audition, because I own CS6 Master Collection, and the noise remover is fucking fantastic. Where there used to be a tad of hiss in not-so-optimal recording spaces, now I can just drop those files into Audition and click remove noise and it's dead silent, without any audible difference in the source I wanted to keep
