ADTR - Homesick VOCAL SOUND

Check out ADTR's (A Day to Remember) new cd, Homesick.

The screaming vox on this CD sound fucking INCREDIBLE.

At about 2:40 into 'Mr. Highway's thinking about the end' where the vocal solo's out, god damn.

The singing vocals are very 'modern' but the aggressive stuff is huge sounding with an amazingly cool grit/saturation to it.

Anyone have details on the tracking chain? Gotta be some analog goodness in there!

Homesick was recorded at the Wade studios by Andrew Wade.

He used a Neumann U87 and probably his Universal Audio pre-amp into some apogee AD/DA

Andrew is a all ITB dude.

The CD was mixed by Adam D.

I think they doubled each screaming take and used a lot of post processing on it (like a doubler some pitch changes on an AUX bus maybe)

Do you know the first Full length?
It was recorded and mixed by the co-owner of the Zing studios (adam D. studio)
The singer has the same vocal voice on it (singing and screaming)
so I think he is good one
