Aeon Gods announce ancient Egypt-themed album “Reborn To Light”
"... German epic power metal outfit Aeon Gods are preparing to open a new chapter in their myth-driven musical universe. The band has announced the release of their second studio album, Reborn To Light, which is scheduled to land on the 20th of February via Scarlet Records. Moving on from their previous themes, the group is now transporting listeners to the radiant and shadowed realms of ancient Egypt.
The concept of the new record follows the dramatic nightly descent of the sun-god Re into the underworld. Alongside this central solar cycle, Reborn To Light incorporates other foundational Egyptian myths to expand the album’s narrative scope. Musically, the band aims to blend traditional power metal might with rich orchestral textures to create an immersive, cinematic experience. Fans can expect a dynamic range of tracks, from fast-paced anthems and dramatic battle hymns to dark atmospheric passages and moments of symphonic grandeur.
The album was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, known for his work with Wind Rose and Twilight Force, ensuring a polished and powerful sound. The visual side of the release is equally striking, featuring cover artwork by Peter Sallai, whose portfolio includes work for Sabaton and Hammer King. Reborn To Light will be available in multiple formats, including digipack CD, digital download, and vinyl LP, with limited runs of 200 turquoise and 100 gold copies available for collectors...."
