AEROSMITH will embark on a European tour in May. Dubbed "Aero-Vederci Baby!", the 17-date trek will launch in Tel Aviv, Israel, on May 17 and wrap up in Zurich, Switzerland, on July 5. Frontman Steven Tyler says: "AEROSMITH just got done ripping through South America like true ambassadors of rock. The band is unstoppable right now and in Europe, we're going to keep doing what we do best — Let The Music Do The Talking, Living On The Edge and living to rock another day." Adds guitarist Joe Perry: "It's been three years since we have been on tour in Europe and I can speak for my brothers that we can't wait to get over there and take it up a few notches. Last tour in South America we were running on all cylinders and I can see no reason to let up now." Tickets for the majority of the "Aero-Vederci Baby!" tour dates will go on sale on November 18. "It's really the five of us, y'know, as a band," he said. "And it's still exciting to walk out onstage with these guys. And that, I think, is the glue that keeps us coming back. Sometimes I ask that question myself, y'know, 'Why am I still doin' it?' Well, when I walk out onstage in Moscow and everybody out there is singing words to songs that we wrote in the basement, or, y'know, in some studio somewhere. It's nothin' short of a miracle, y'know? And so we kind of have a lot of respect for that."
