AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler performed acoustically at the Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, New York on September 10, 2015 for an exclusive "Front And Center" episode which will air on February 29. The show features Tyler performing stripped-down renditions of AEROSMITH classics like "Jaded", "Janie's Got A Gun" and "Sweet Emotion", with the singer accompanied by LOVING MARY — a band featuring his longtime collaborator Marti Frederiksen, along with Rebecca Lynn Howard, Lindsey Lee and Eric Paslay — as well as EXTREME guitarist Nuno Bettencourt. "Steven Tyler is one of the greatest creative minds of our time," said Don Maggi, "Front And Center" executive producer. "To have him in this setting stripping down his music to the essence of what makes a great song — paying tribute to that craft — is an honor for us." "Front And Center" is the critically acclaimed, original one-hour concert series that airs commercial-free on public television. Now in its sixth season, the show has presented an eclectic mix of Grammy, CMA and American Music Award winners rock icons and multi-platinum sellers, including Dierks Bentley, COUNTING CROWS, GOO GOO DOLLS, Jack Johnson, LADY ANTEBELLUM, Cyndi Lauper, THE FRAY, TRAIN, Keith Urban, and more. "Front And Center" is a production of Front And Center Entertainment, LLC in association with WLIW21 for WNET, and distributed by American Public Television. The second taste of Tyler's forthcoming country-influenced debut solo album, a song called "Red White & You", will go for radio adds on January 25. The track is being described by Tyler's record label, Big Machine Label Group's Dot Records, as "American up-tempo country anthem." In May 2015, Tyler released his first country single, "Love Is Your Name", which reached #1 on the Billboard Country Streaming Songs chart. Tyler's full-length country debut is tentatively due in early 2016. The singer will also perform alongside Nashville-based band LOVING MARY for two nights in March at the Niagara Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The "Love Is Your Name" clip was filmed just outside Nashville and was previewed on ABC's "Good Morning America" before it went live online. The track was written by Lindsey Lee and Eric Paslay.
