Anyone hear this yet? I used to have the first album but sold it because I never listened to it, but the couple of songs I have heard from this new one really fucking OWN. What say youz?!

This new chick is good. I like how her vocals seem to float over the insane music.

I like the self titled a lot, but Formless bores me.

If I were to of heard Formless first my opinion would probably differ.

The first album with the Cynic rhythm section (Sean Malone is not on Formless btw) was really damned good, haven't got around to checking the new one out yet...

"Formless" came out of nowhere and blew my ass out the door. I liked the first one quite a bit, but figured I was pretty much through with that sort of music. But somehow "Formless" just hits the spot perfectly for me right now.

I think it helps that there's just a whole lot of great balls'n'chunk riffing on there. It actually has quite a bit in common with Nevermore, or even a more traditional band like Iced Earth, in the way everything grooves and flows so nicely.

The debut is one of my favorite discs. The new one is good, but a bit of a letdown in comparison. I really hated it at first, but it grew on me to the point where I call it good.
