Lets see, I have very mixed feelings about this show.
I was really dissapointed in the venue/running of the show.
It was an Off-date of mayhem fest with God Forbid, Black Dahlia, Behemoth, and Cannibal Corpse. No other opening bands or whatever
The tickets/website said doors at 7, show at 8. I got there at 7:45 and God Forbid was playing their second to last song.....Strange usally metal shows start LATE around here...
I felt really bad for alot of young kids, the venue made this new policy that they previously did not have. They ID EVERYBODY even people under the drinking age. They wont just mark you under if you dont have your ID anymore.
I guess the shows there have always been 16+ but they had never really enforced that unless someone looked like a todler.
So there was all these kids under 21 who had BOUGHT tickets in advance and didnt have their ID's and the venue wouldn't let them in!!!!!
My best friend's girlfriend is 20 and she left her purse at home and they wouldnt let her in, even though she BOUGHT tickets in advance!
So anyways I was super pissed about that, Then Black Dahlia took the stage and I was super pumped to hear some great drumming and guitar riffs!
THEY ONLY PLAYED 5 SONGS, A TOTAL OF 20 MINUTES ON A FUCKING OFF DATE! I was so mad! Almost in disbelief
Then Behemoth came on and was fucking awesome, ruthless, and terrifying. But they didnt even play for an hour!
The show was supposed to start at 8pm and it was 10 o'clock and 3/4 of the bands were finished, Bullshit!
I was confuzzled and angry and I didnt feel like sticking around for Cannibal Corpse (never was a huge fan).
So overall, Behemoth was sweet, but everything else about that concert sucked dick boners
