I know what As I Lay Dying uses by amp setup and I have created multiple covers by them. So please tell me what you think of the sound and if I get enough feedback of comments, I might share these special DI rendered tracks.

Recorded with a modified Jackson Soloist with EMGs 81s (better capacitors)

Tone is amazing! It clips a fuckton though.

Exactly where does it clip? I didn't notice any clipping as I'm aware of. Peavey 6505+ tone mostly is what I used. It's a bit crunchy on rhythm guitars, but tried others by experiment and I like the Peavey 6505+ tone the best. The only clip I hear is the impulse overlay at the beginning that wasn't silenced or cut off; sorry about that. By the way I tend to have all my work at 1.2 decibels and then hard limited a bit. Perhaps I need a bit more noise gate adjustment? I see what I can do, but from earbuds, yes earbuds (preference), it seems fine for me.

Yeah like the bloke above said, it's sounds great, but listening on my monitor headphones I can say that pretty much the whole thing is clipping. The solo at around the 1:00 minute mark clips very hard.

Perhaps I lower the volume of the cab impulse and that usually clears up some noise, besides it was a quick render. I'll work on it when I have the chance. Trying to find graphic-design work is tight and helping my Dad recover through his knee surgery by being there for him when needed. Don't worry it will be soon, my Dad is actually ahead of schedule because of one of the greatest knee and shoulder doctors in Houston. Michael S. George.

I had a chance to work on it just a bit today. I did alleviated some issues with some hiss, and yes I started to hear it just a bit at times. Overall it was loudness of the cab-impulse. I'm working out some kinks, but hopefully this sounds better for the community? Added drums for reference of working and I will keep listening to it. Final results take time you know.
