My choices basically came down to...
$715 round trip for one connection through London... (several more were comparable through Frankfurt or Paris but I'll deal with English speakers when I already have never booked anything more than Greyhound on my own and hate traveling anyway, thankyouverymuch!)...
... there was also the choice of $666, which I should have taken, but it was for 2 unnamed connections and I'd rather shoot myself than have multiple airlport layovers like that... $50 well spent in difference I hope!

Prices looking about $500 for Holland this October but I won't be booking that til August or September.
