I went to see The Alex Skolnick Trio the other night in Boston and spoke with Alex for a few minutes about guitars and he mentioned that he might be selling off some of the equipment he had in storage that he hasn’t used in a while. I would highly suggest/recommend that if the AS Trio plays a show anywhere near your area you should really make the effort to go see them. They put on an amazing show; it’s a combo of Jazz, Rock, Blues and well, a little bit of head banging! If you are a Testament fan (I know you all are) and especially if you are a musician, check out the show, you won’t be disappointed.

Alex is the man. My favorite guitar of his is the one with the PWYP cover painted on it, freakin' sweet.

Yeah, I read a posting on his site where he said something to that fact. Doesn't matter, I couldn't afford it anyway haha. Still I wish there were pictures of it somewhere. I saw him play it live during the Ritual tour before he left.

The PWYP guitar is fucking killer! All those Ibanez strat shaped axes Alex used back in the day were sweet!
