Kinda like the opposite of Kirk Hammett really (actually got better over time instead of worse ).
I fucking love his leads. His vibrato is fucking sexy, phrasing superb, note choice just perfect and overall command of the instrument is disturbingly good.
Him and Marty Friedman were the two best guys in thrash metal lead playing. No one could even come close to these two guys for having such a unique, identify (unless you count Slayer's pathetic excuses for guitar solosuke: )

One of my favorite solos he did in a testament song has to be "The First Strike is Deadly" on the re-release... soooo amazing. That one jazzy descending line in the second part. UGH. that made me get into jazz and fusion.
