According to ABC 15, legendary rocker Alice Cooper made an appearance earlier today (Monday, February 22) at the grand opening of the second Arizona location of Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Phoenix, Arizona. Each branch has a special Goodnight For A Good Cause Burger that raises money for a local charity. The Phoenix location will donate $1 from each Goodnight burger to Cooper's Solid Rock Foundation, which provides a safe place for kids to learn and practice music and other creative arts. "They're giving a dollar for every No More Mr. Nice Guy burger. And the burgers are amazing. They're really good," Cooper said. The No More Mr. Nice Guy Burger, with cheddar, hickory barbecue sauce, caramelized onions, sliced jalapeños, "Sassy" sauce and a black-colored bun, will be available in limited quantities each day. The Solid Rock Foundation was founded in 1995 by Cooper and others who envisioned a teen center where everything would be free. They began fundraising and finally in 2012, with both funds and a plan for free lessons, they opened the center. "You have a choice at a certain age you either go into a gang or into a band," Cooper said. "We would rather have you be in a band. You're going to be in a lot less trouble. We also have a dance program my wife does." Check out a video report from ABC 15 below.
