According to The Columbus Dispatch, legendary rocker Alice Cooper was inducted into White Castle's Cravers Hall Of Fame — a shrine for lovers of the company’s slider — during a ceremony at the restaurant's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio Monday afternoon (July 7).White Castle explained in a press release that "Alice Cooper is a legend in the rock 'n' roll world because he created an entirely new way to express musical talent and stagecraft — White Castle is legendary in the burger world for our creative approach to selling hot and tasty burgers by the sack. It's a perfect combo, and we're thrilled to induct Alice Cooper as our newest member of the Cravers Hall Of Fame." The company also said Cooper grew up on White Castle, and just never got over the cravings.A video report from The Columbus Dispatch can be seen below.Cooper is supporting MÖTLEY CRÜE on "The Final Tour", which kicked off on July 2 and runs through late November.Alice Cooper has completed work on a covers album featuring songs that were originally written and recorded by THE DOORS, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon and THE WHO, members of the so-called "Hollywood vampires" of the early and mid-'70s. The disc, which is expected out in early 2015, will also include "four or five new songs," which the legendary rocker wrote specifically for the new CD.
