I've been mixing this for an hour or 2 and my ears are shot. This is my first time posting up a mix. The performance isn't the best, but I was more concerned on practicing mixing than anything else. Thanks for any replies fellas

performance is most of it

so i would say it sounds pretty good...but the performance is holding you back on going any further..........but still its damn good.....i have heard alot of ppl butcher AIC but this is actually pretty good

I like it a lot dude! Great job on the vocals! Sounds very Cantrellish. Other than some of the guitar bends I think it sounds great. What equipment was used?

the drums were sampled and left with the overheads and hihat mic. I used the tom samples Sly posted up here and the snare and kick I made myself. Samson CO-2s for overheads and a SM81 for the hats.

The acoustics were from this Yamaha acoustic I bought for $80 off a friend years ago and the bass was a really shitty Dean bass, I think it says "playmate" on the headstock

The leads were done from a Fernandes guitar my buddy had (not sure on the model, its not on their site). I ran that into a Marshall AVT50... I know, I know... DI'ed that then used GuitarHacks impulses.

Vox were done through a Shure Unidyne 545
