The latest episode of Ernie Ball's "String Theory" featuring ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell, can be seen below. Ernie Ball's "String Theory" is a web series from Ernie Ball that explores the sonic origins of some of music's most innovative players. The episode sees Cantrell discussing his inspirations in music and guitar and his lifelong pursuit of tone. "I still enjoy the feel of the guitar on my hands," Jerry said. "It's really exhilarating to stand on stage in front of people... To elicit an emotion from them and to feel that emotion yourself, it's a transfer of energy and that's really the whole thing." Cantrell recently said that ALICE IN CHAINS will take time off after the completion of the band's summer tour with KORN. The group is continuing to play shows in support of its latest album, "Rainier Fog", which was released last August. ALICE IN CHAINS' sixth studio LP and first in five years features the rock radio hits "The One You Know" and "Never Fade". ALICE IN CHAINS' co-headlining tour with KORN will kick off on July 18 in Del Valle, Texas, wrapping up on September 4 in Mountain View, California.
