ALTERED STATE SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH PURE STEEL RECORDS

Pure Steel Records are proud to announce an unearthed piece of Heavy Metal History brought to you by none other than US Progressive/Power Metal band ALTERED STATE.

The band, founded in 1989 by Bassist Chris Fredericks, Guitarists John Orrio and Doug Taylor formed an alliance that would leave its mark in the Metal World for many years to come. With the addition of former Deadly Blessing vocalist SKI, then later, the bands drummer Todd Deputy completed the definitive line-up for ALTERED STATE.

The band, seemingly, had all their pieces in place but due to consistent touring and recording the band disbanded, unequivocally, in 1991.

Fast forward to 2019, the very unreleased demo that has become, at some point, a tape traders sensation will be released OFFICIALLY for the first time through PURE STEEL RECORDS.

More details will be forthcoming in the weeks and months leading to this special, exclusive release!

ALTERED STATE - „Altered State" - limited Vinyl Edition - Cover, Tracklist, Release Date: 27th September 2019

The release date of the album „Altered State“ by the US Prog/Power Metal Band ALTERED STATE as limited Vinyledition is September 27th, 2019. The pre-order phase will start on September 13th, 2019 in our webshop. The Album will release in a limited Edition of 300 black copies and insert on Vinyl.

The vinyl fetishist has been waiting for this event for years. The demos of ALTERED STATE are being re-released - on real vinyl. ALTERED STATE was the formation in which vocalist Norman Kiersznowski, known in the metal world as Ski, were active after his retirement from the US legend DEADLY BLESSING. Six demo songs plus four rehearsals from the early 1990s are included on this masterpiece, which was released years ago on CD under the title 'Winter Warlock'. And this is going to be put on the vinyl plate by PURE STEEL RECORDS in 2019 under the name “Altered State”. Metalheads with the taste for high-pitched vocals will kneel and cry in front of this. ALTERED STATE are celebrating technical power metal and are simply indispensable for any US Metal fan.
