Ambienting rock clip

I've been trying to do record some stuff I generally wouldn't. Here's my 30 minute attempt at a rock mix...

Sounds great, really. Snare and kick (especially snare though) sound a bit too mechanical for the music it seems though.

I love the music in that.

yeah, the band I'm doing really wants that "all crack hits" sound. =(

Apart from that I think it's great, really, not that I'm the most qualified person to comment.

But I guess every little bit helps. I really like the low-end on your clip, I don't really know what I like so much but it just comes across as really full and right to me. Someone with actual studio monitors's opinion might be more valuable though.

Sounds great. Perhaps some more lowmids, and there may be a few intonation issues with the guitars.. maybe I'm imagining it.

I think sounds alittle more like could be a playing issue more than intonation, bending the string alittle too much on some notes.
