This is what I was worried about aswell. If I did go alot of people would go without presents, damn I hate commercial christmas!

Primordial headlined last year, so the promotors wont want the same band on for two years, Plus Primordial rarely play over here, they play germany etc.. more

Thats where you see AA is really dedicated to their fans.. headlining a festival with only 250 places (if thats correct).. I mean AA alone would get more than that.

Howdy folks,

Yep, Primordial headlined last year. This year we have Amon Amarth and Skyclad as the main headliners. There are 24 bands in total playing over 3 days, Fri/Sat/Sun 19th - 21st December, in a small venue. Tickets are selling already, so if you are interested I would highly recommend that you get on over to http://www.corkwinterfest.com asap.

For anyone travelling from abroad (i.e. not Ireland) we have lots of information on getting to the festival, and we are doing a deal on accommodation with one of the hostels in Cork, full details at the winterfest site.

We hope to see some of you this winter, if you haven't seen Amon Amarth in a small venue before, then don't miss this chance
