Is it me or did Metal Blade not really push this album like they did Versus the World? It came and went pretty much when you compare what they got with VtW - world tours with Halford, Deicide etc. I suppose it's still early but it's a shame that there isn't as much buzz for this release. It's quite disappointing when Metal Blade have become so wrapped up in all their metalcore signings...

Well, they have been improving in their signings with the likes of Primordial, but of course they're also guilty of following CM's path by underpromoting their less marketable releases...

I still haven't heard Fate of Norns. It's strange, because if you had asked me at the beginning of this year, a new Amon Amarth album would have been pretty high on my list of things to get, and I still like them a lot. But I'm not inspired to buy it for some reason. *shrug*
