Ampeg SVX Plugin...

I'm getting it for my studio. I mean..modelling bass tones really isn't nearly as complex as guitars if you think about it. In other words, it's "easier" to get a good modelled bass amp sound, basically.

I've found the Guitar Rig 2 SVT emulation to be quite usable on bass sounds. It's the only aspect I use the software for. It's quite useless for guitars.

Looking forward to hearing this SVX thing though.

thats looks pretty damn cool!!! i want it
although i do have access to an svt and an 8x10.....
and sans amp is amazing..... hmmmmmmmm

This is a bit OT but have you guys listened to the more recent demos of amplitube 2?
Metal 1, metal 2, metal 3...
Is it a joke or what?:erk:

Don't judge amplitube 2 by the demos. It's acutally quite good. Still no replacement for a real amp.

I'm not judging amplitube 2, but these so-called "metal demos"... They should have called em "mud demos". Just horrible.

Oh cool shit! I thought you meant he was insane becuase he was like "Amplitube is the best evar!" or something, lol. It sounds good for what he used it for...and that was on a camera mic...meh. I'd rather use a PODxt or really an actual amp for that matter.

Nah, I was talking about the playing :) Sound-wise I am not that impress, although I suspect this plugin can turn out to be quite useful. I really doubt it being better than a sansamp bass driver, and its price isn't very low ;)

they're terrible. unfortunately, the presets are terrible as well in the actual plug in. however, i've been able to get some decent guitar and bass sounds out of it with enough tweaking and eqing.
