I tried the demo, long story short: Cabinet simulation is fucking tasty, hi gain amps sound mostly digital and fizzy (with the exception of the JCM800, sounds lovely, mesa sounded pretty cool too).

There's nothing free about it. You can download one free amp with a stock cab which sounds like ass or you can get a demo that cuts out every 30 seconds.

what good would that do you? You wouldn't be able to match the results anyway so you're better off trying it out for yourself to see what YOU could do with it with YOUR gear.

I mean if someone were able to make something amazing sounding with it and then they told you they ran it through $10,000 of outboard gear, it would be of no help to you right?
